Dear friends!

We are glad to welcome you to our website. Please feel free to browse and familiarize yourself with our services that we can provide to you, your family, and your friends.

Our goal is to help our Russian-speaking American seniors and provide them with an opportunity to document their lives, which is not only valuable to their family members but gives them purpose at this time in their lives and distinct meaning. We want to assist them in materializing their personal and family history in the form of a text or video interview, autobiography or family chronicle, memoirs, or confidential documents for archival storage. We strive to ensure that people’s life stories become an integral and valuable part of the heritage that people could pass on to their descendants and leave the memory of themselves and their achievements for future generations. As you may have noticed, our site is bilingual. We consider ourselves as Russian-speaking Americans and, at the same time, have an excellent command of English. We understand the mental peculiarities of people who have lived significant parts of their lives in the Soviet Union. We also relate to their American-born children or grandchildren or those who came here at a young age. Some of them cannot read or even understand spoken Russian and unfamiliar with Soviet history and culture. We attempt to cover the gap through our unique method of translation. We contemplate the difference in mentality between the authors and their readers. We also keep in mind historical and cultural features of life in the USSR in the last century and idiosyncrasies of the culture of modern America. We help acquaint the younger generation with the biography of their grandfathers and grandmothers in a form that is comprehensive and accessible to them and explains nuances that may be inaccessible or confusing for them.

Through our activities, we strive to contribute to American society’s intellectual and cultural diversity. We also act as the primary source of historiographic information related to the heritage of Russian-speaking Americans for state and federal news agencies, regional communities, museums, museums, libraries, and cultural centers. We believe that every person’s life is unique in its own way. It is an integral part of the history of human society and therefore should not disappear sinking into oblivion but should be described in one form or another to leave a documented memory of a person for future generations. If you are interested in any of what we have to offer, please contact us, and we will be happy to provide additional information and assist you.

If there is someone among your relatives and friends who, from your point of view, might benefit from our services, we will appreciate it if you send them a link to our site. Let say your relative or acquaintance has an anniversary or a significant date approaching. You are wondering about what to buy as a valuable and original gift. If it is the case, please keep in mind that our Gift Certificate is the best option for such a purpose.
